There are many cars I would rather have than a GP as nice as that is. For the choice given a gas VS a battery powered car, well for me gas always wins over an electric transport pod.

I think you would see a different result if done March Madness bracket style. I wonder how the GP1 would stand against some of the previous winners or how it would match up against a bracket full of like cars (older WRX/STI, Evo, SI...etc.). Maybe even throw in hot hatches not available here.

Oooh, this is brilliant! It's on. We need nominations for cars. Depending on how many cars we get, we'll set up a bracket, and I'll try to seed them fairly. We'll have a daily match-up and crown a winner. Thanks B.A.D.

I'll take some of the previous contestants from this thread, and if anyone cares to nominate other contestants, list them here, and I'll start a new thread with the bracket. There'll be a daily match-up and we'll crown the most desirable car.

Nope no order at all just off the top of my head and 3 are jokes.

I would also add a 1967 Jaguar XKE E-Type Coupe.

Also can we remove all the rules that it has to be your daily driver and for Dick the fact that he has to fit his sleeping bag in it.

Lets go with heads up "Most Desirable car" no other rules.

    One thought...
Folks that love MINI, love it not because it is the best car ever....
Let's face it...a mini is outclassed in so many ways by so many different cars....
I might suggest not to use a supercar as the competition, lests face it, $$$ does not matter here....
But attitude, fun, looks (maybe even goofy), things that say look at me, I'm different!!
    How about....
Hmm...the mini one or the regular one...lol?!
    Half joking....but still...
What car is as much about attitude as it is about fun?! Find one...and then you will have a match!!

    PS....
I bet driving the Weiner-Mobile Mini Cooper on the dragon might not be ideal, but would be a fun car to bring to the event...same as a "red-bull" mini!!

No guess work to this one: Miata. I've had two and there's a good chance I'll have another one, who knows. And, living where I do it's a perfect year round daily driver.
