    Before dinner bump!

Its not like we dont already know who the winner is going to be, but tomorrow its looking like the Jeep and WRX will be going head to head to determine the overall winner for numbers sake...

Sunday before I turn the reins of the game over to BAD, I have a bonus round planned, so stay tuned! :)

A couple last minute votes! See there is still NO hope for the Jeep.

I was at the bar, because I had a pretty good day... Got to throw some scum into the jail cell they belong in on my lunch break, so I cant complain! :)

Haven't added up the votes, but with the last minute Larry's the Jeep only got 2 votes... Thanks!

So the Mustang gets the advancement into the final 2, not complaining because it is one bad ass car! But going against the 2015 WRX, I can see who the winner is going to be!

    So, would you rather buy:

    The new 5.0 GT Mustang.

    Or:

The Subaru WRX, that is now on the same aesthetic level as a Toyota Camry.

If I could vote, it would be for the 5.0... But thats just me, and it doesn't count unless the slim possibility of a tie comes into play!

Heres the deal, I have been planning a "Bonus" round from the start...
At some point tomorrow, as I am getting the engine bolted into the Rat-MINI I will take a break, and post that bonus round, so it wont cut anybody's weekend too short...

It is worth sticking around for... Remember, there is one more winner that hasn't reappeared in this challenge, and something the true DIY, build it without the shop's help, $35K car left out. ;)

    AWD for the win.
V8 rwd is utterly useless around here.

WRX with its AWD drive gets my vote. When I'm behind the wheel sliding down a forest road I can't see what the outside looks like. :D

    I am torn....

I like the looks of the Stang....

But I vote WRX for the fun potential.

The results are in, and we have a Winner!

With an 8 to 4 score the Subaru WRX brings home the bacon!

I honestly expected the Mustang to take the game, but, no dice this time!

Congratulations Subaru, you took a once great car, turned it into an AWD turbo Toyota, and still won... Even though you dropped your WRC team, your dignity, and any interest I had in your cars, but for people on a $35K budget... You can still sell 8 cars to us!

Now for my promised Sunday bonus round...

You get a call from your friend who deals in the car game, and he has an offer for you!

He says he has a "slightly" totaled Ferrari 458 Italia he has to move fast!

This is a package deal... For $35K, you get the remnants of the 458, full access to the Ferrari parts bin (Free) the Ferrari tool room (also free) and non hands on technical assistance to rebuild the Ferrari... Down side, it comes as pictured below, and you must do 100% of the rebuild by yourself with no help or shops involved, and you have to take a Scion IQ as your only source of transportation!

    So, would you rather:

Keep your WRX to modify to your liking...

Or do you accept your friends offer, get your hands dirty and take:

    This
    [IMG]

Plus this, to rebuild as a project car...

    All for $35,000? :)

I'm guessing the free access to the Ferrari parts bin would evaporate once the car was reassembled. Once the 458 is back to showroom glory and warp capable, it's still a money pit and a maintenance hog.

It also has the dubious distinction of being the first mainstream Ferrari not to be offered with a manual transmission. No thanks.

    I'd rather have the WRX.

I would still take the FERRARI and the pos Scion IQ over the STANCE WRX.

I would hang myself from a door like Robin Williams before I ever drive a STANCE car.
