Sweet, what mountain roads were you on?
-
Here is the link of my route:
Greenville, SC to Greenville, SC - Google Maps
It was Hwy 276 to Hwy 178 to Hwy 11 and back. Some of these are part of the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway. The great thing is that part of the road was closed, so I had to create a detour, which turned out to be a great road as well. Don't know that name of that road, but it was fun.
If you live near NC, this is a great drive, particularly in the fall. Also, there are rarely any police, as most cars don't have room to get up to speed. -

I had a Lexus doing the same thing during our run up to the Scottish Festival in Blairsville, GA a couple of months back. Idiot was tailgating me while I was at the end of a line of about 25 MINI's and then everyone slams on their brakes on a blind curve. This moron swings out and runs up about 4 cars and then cuts back in... Wish the cop who had a lane blocked (the reason for the brake slamming) would have seen this little move of the Lexus driving organ donor wannabe. Never seems to work out that way... :incazzato: -

Yep. Those are some great roads... NC215 outta Rosman is perhaps my all-time favorite road - but it's hard to go wrong with any of the roads in that area.

That would def break those mid week blues!
-
I've never tried NC215, so that will be the next one I hit when the workday blues hit me - maybe tomorrow :idea: -

Those roads are good for lots of smiles. I'm sure you'll find many a reason to get out and "stretch your legs"

Especially the Lexus crowd... :eek6:
