It wouldn't be proper for me to post a whole story (copyright law and all), but as part of my review of Modern MINI magazine, I believe it's fair use to post a sample page that shows the high quality of this publication. IMHO, Modern MINI is the best of the MINI magazines available, and the fact that it's published in the UK doesn't matter. These folks know MINIs, and the features on events, maintenance and project cars are pretty cool. The biggest downside is that it's a bimonthly magazine, although they did do an extra summer issue this year. The photography, reproduction and writing are very good - and they employ a proofreader.
You can buy the paper version at Barnes and Noble, but now that I've learned how to balance the iPad on my knees in the reading room, I much prefer the electronic version from the App Store. (I assume it's available for Android OS too, but that's foreign territory to me. Someone here will know.)
Bottom line? If you're into MINIs, you should give Modern MINI magazine a try.

FYI, you also can subscribe directly at the Modern MINI website here:
Pocketmags.com | Modern Mini.
A one-year digital subscription (7 issues) is $28.99, and you can buy a single issue (like the current July-August one, which is destined to become a collector's item because of its content!) for $5.99 - credit card or PayPal. Back issues also are available.-

I think I will go to my local Chapters (Canada) bookstore and get a paper version of the magazine.
