More idiots, these guys are media. Drivers complained about them, hopefully the worst of them will be banned.

As far as I'm concerned the lawsuit topic shouldn't enter into it, there shouldn't even be any need. Someone does significant damage to property and livelihood of another, something ought to be done about it without anyone even asking much less demanding. Should apply to all sorts of things, not just damage done by racing. If someone drives his car into your living room, wouldn't it be right of you to expect him to take responsibility or be held responsible if he doesn't?
Seems to me locals should be able to expect damage done along a route to be repaired (or at least paid for), I'm just wondering who, if anyone, agrees to deal with damage post-rally. I've wondered the same in the past about damaged buildings, bridges and even the loose surface roads they practically ruin. Or am I just naive to think people should take responsibility for their actions?
I've pretty much always assumed the local organizer is the responsible party.-

The one that used to bowl me over was Luis Moya, Carlos Sainz' co-driver.
But then if you have to say "izquierda" a million times a day, you are going to have to fit in a few more syllables than the English speakers...
Here he is, with Carlos driving a Porsche 911 in a historic rally last year:

He could say "I can speak faster than Carlos can drive" with justice.-

The in-car video from the final day actually looks quick - and when it looks quick on bigger Finnish tracks/roads, I think it is actually blindingly quick.
Meeke was good, and surprisingly modest after day two saying that he couldn't expect to take time on Ogier. Like a good team player, he didn't blame a machinery difference!
British TV coverage had plenty of in-car from Meeke displaying an amazing amount of detail from his navigator Paul Nagle. Some terms were interesting - as well as "don't cut, he occasionally used "very don't cut". Best of all was "don't be brave".....-
