Anyone feel like working on that Toyota WRC project? They're taking applications. Of course you'd need to move to Germany, I think...and the right sort of resume might help a bit as well. "Want to join our new Official WRC project? Find your dream job here: The Home of High Performance - Be Part of It!"
That's the job for me! I can convert them to STI suspension to save $$$$$! hahaha That job will be a no pressure job...not

Big help I'm sure, but at Monte spectators are know to shovel snow on the road just before the competitors appear. Hard to plan for such stupidity. ut:
Shots from testing in Sweden ahead of the rally (which starts 12 Feb). One meter snow banks reported. Look promising.

Those were great!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Cars from my misspent youth. While my friends lusted after things with big honking V8's that couldn't steer or stop I lusted for odd little furin cars that delivered my kind of fun. :arf:
I haven't even looked for it yet this year. They have a thing called WRC+ this year. You have to subscribe to it but you get live broadcast and can watch playback any time you like. Not sure what else you get but I've read rave reviews. https://plus.wrc.com/about/info/ There's a channel called MAVTV that's showing...something, but I don't know what or how much. Check to see if it's in your channel listing. MAVTV - FIA World Rally Championship Don't know whether anyone else is broadcasting. If anyone else knows, please post info.
Mountain biking? I hope it was worth it, Dani. Now you get to miss a rally. I'm sure that went over well with the head of the team..... On the plus side, he's better on tarmac, clean tarmac, so I suppose Sweden is one of the rallies he's less likely to feel bad about missing. Have another! I almost didn't watch this one because of the "crash" in the title. Not a fan of vehicular carnage, esp. where classics are concerned. But for any others with similar dispositions take note that it's crash, singular, one crash in the whole video and it's minor. Good stuff, otherwise. Poor Fiat. Should have let off the brake, locked wheels don't steer. I didn't click on this video earlier for the same reason as you had Steve. Thanks for the heads up, lots of really cool old cars, even Big Healey's!
I know some will think this is blasphemy -- like a non-red Ferrari -- but I love the look of the Alpine in red (maroon ?).

Any color & it is still one sweet rally car. I'll take mine in French rally Blu please. You just have to love the wide variety of cars for the Historic Monte.
Back to the WRC, found some good onboard. Apparently this is the sort of thing you can expect from WRC+, but this and others are avail on YouTube as well. Video quality is much better than the second video below, which is unfortunate because I've been hoping for some good onboard from the Turini and the quality really lets it down (the second one, that is).
