Don't tell me how it ends. I'm going to watch later tonight with beer & comfort food.
I don't know if I can ever forgive sweet Babs for telling me how Titanic ended. Ruined the whole movie for me.... -

Watched the first couple of hours. Still have couple of more to watch. I have to say, I like this years coverage a whole lot better then last's.

1. This years coverage IS way better. Although I don't get an entire hour dedicated to the last "power stage" and a total of 1.5 hours to the other 21 stages.
2. Kimi finished in the top 10 (8th). Not bad for a customer team.
3. Ken Block looks like Ali G's lost twin.
If anyone one watched the preview hour, there is segment on the Mini with Paddy Hopkirk commenting on the car and the driver. One of the comments was about driving with both feet. In a later segments you can see in the in-car shots the location and spacing of the pedals (gas and brake). The are about a foot apart (at least), so it doesn't look like these guys heel/toe anymore. Also, no more paddle shifters, although it does look like they still use the sequential boxes. In one shot it did look like there is a clutch pedal, but I did not see them used it during their stages. I am so confused. -

Yea the paddle shifters are gone, but it's still the sequential auto clutch tranny.
Nope, no more heel-toe as they no longer need the cluth (except at the start ). I think the only time they use the clutch pedal is on the road going to and from the stages and the garage. -
I managed to watch most of it and thought it was very good. MINI got some good press, which is a good thing. I liked the way the co-driver held the e-brake while the driver revved up for the start.
