Interesting comment from Paolo Nobre: I suppose it might not be clear to all why Loeb would be out on his bike. He dropped out yesterday and didn't resume today so he's just out having fun on his bike riding around the stage areas.
I wondered why Loeb didn't rejoin yesterday - under Rally 2 rules (brought in to keep sponsors happy, so if someone is knocked out on day one, their stickers still get some exposure!), Latvala and Solberg could rejoin after repairing their cars and accepting a big (but not huge) time penalty. In the EuroSport commentary I head Loeb saying something about breaking two wheels when explaining why he was out on a bike, so maybe they only get a limited number. But since some drivers carry two spares at times, they must be allowed up to six, in which case you would think Loeb would have four left and Citroen would want him to restart, even if he couldn't then deal with a puncture. But maybe Loeb having won both championships and looking at retirement, isn't that committed if he had to restart down the pack with no hope of winning. I don't know.

Great video in here, including (at 0:43) the jump that ruined Paolo Nobre's day: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84h7MiukUuk]Wrc - Rallye Italia Sardinia 2012 [HD] - YouTube[/ame]
