Given Robert Kubica is still learning how to drive rallies, including taking on all these WRC rounds for the first time, his rate of success and rate of improvement thus far make me wonder whether any of the top teams might be already thinking of promoting him from WRC2 to a full time WRC ride as early as next year. No one knows how he would do if he was running a full WRC spec car so they'd probably be foolish to hire him so soon but his WRC2 program doesn't include the full season...someone could give him a test run late in the season to see how it goes. There was speculation Citroen would try to twist Loeb's arm to convince him to come back and help them out since they're struggling this year, but it was just announced that he's going WTCC racing with them next year. They'll be looking elsewhere to shake things up.
