That's always been the point of the 2011 season for MINI, I figured. Test it out, shake it loose, and really aim to be truly competitive in 2012.

Interesting spin on the results for the weekend.

Then again, from the limited 2011 program it looks like this is just a year for working out the bugs. They are finding them, that's for sure.

 

You make a good point Nathan. It is better they find them now, rather than during the full season. This way they can be that much more ahead of the game in 2012. Sure, there will be problems then too, but not as many. I like their approach to all this.

Heck no one steps up to the top form of motorsport & just gets on with winning. They are doing well & learning all the way. Next year they should show their true potential.

 

Regardless of how the Teams finish (or not), it's just great to see MINI competing at this level. I love the WRC, and now even more-so.....

Here here! Even getting to see a couple of events with a MINI, be it the factor team or one of the others are are running MINIs this season, has been fun.

 

sounds expensive................wonder what a normal person could do on half the budget
