    Just to tidy this up as I know he's very busy piecing things back together...

    Apparently he bought a used and abused MINI. He told me some number of the control arms were actually sort of S-shaped. :eek6:

    I believe there was other suspension damage as well. He drove away from my place with 4 gently used control arms so is on his way to getting it back on the road.

    Here's hoping he'll come back to tell the rest of the story, post some pics, etc. :Thumbsup:

    Hope things worked out for him. Must have been some major off roading to damage the uppers.
