Update.....I got a set of Madness Plates.

Sorry I know this isn't the right place, but does anyone even look under the "Wanted" ads anymore? I mean this isn't the wild west.

Checking to see if anyone had any Under Tower Indurators or strut reinforcement plates they wanted to get rid of incase they sold the car or went with coilovers. Any will work, Cravenspeed/Ebay/etc. I can pick up the Ebay ones for $65 shipped but wanted to check here first to see if there was some laying around.

    Shipping to Columbus, Ohio 43081.

Get whatever you can get and fast, since you live in pothole-plagued Columbus! They are the best at keeping the strut towers from bulging as a result of hitting potholes or whatever. I have them on all 3 of my MINIs.

We do seem to have more than our fair share of them. It's just another opportunity to keep my suspension system tuned up!

Working on an overall updated classifieds and wanted section.. thought I was about there then ran into a critical issue.

Also looks like there is a top mount plate option (a little more expensive) from Craven. Found them on Outmotoring. https://www.outmotoring.com/mini-cooper/mini_cooper_cravenspeed_strut_tower_defenders.html - Note as a member you get auto 5% off. May want to give Aaron at @OutMotoring a call. Didn't have time to check Detroit or Madness..

You would be better off buying fixed or adjustable Camber plates. Those plates are too thin to make any difference.

Looked at the IE fixed plates, around $200. Not looking to spend quite that much, still balling on a budget. In the future I hope to be able to add some coilovers, but I mean it is a 14 year old car now.

I have the IE adjustable plates. They are ok but not the best. I have had good luck with them.
