So far so good, my S Drives have remained quite. Possibly because of frequent rotations & balance jobs. All high performance tires I have used tend to be on the loud side especially as they age. Although as I age everything seems to be getting quieter.

Folks do a lot of different things. Me no way, I would never run a summer tire in winter temps. I learned that lesson years ago, it darned near cost me a car.
If I lived in FLA I'd not buy snow tires either. Pretty sure they get more of a winter in Jolly Old England.
Winter tires for me when the time is right for them.-

How will you be using the tire?
Planning and track days or autocross events? Any spirited driving?
I’m on my third set of Pilot Super Sports.
Needless to say, I do like them.
Assuming you aren’t in the States.
We have a 30K mileage warranty; is something similar available for you?
Given that I see approximately 18K miles before I hit the treadwear bars, these are a pricey choice without a treadwear warranty.
Not knowing exactly where you are , I have to ask whether or not you’ll experience snow/extreme cold and if so, will a dedicated set of all seasons/winters be available? -
I'm in the UK - so any tyre choice needs to handle wet weather with confidence!
What are the PSS like in the rain?
Useage will be spirited driving (not track use or autocross) just some fun out on the open roads now and then!
We don't have a mileage warranty over here either! -

I like how they work in the wet.

The S Drives work well in the rain, but are terrible in cold weather. Anything colder than 40 degrees F or 4.4 C & they are not safe.

Used them at near zero C (32F) without issue. Didn't get too cold here this past winter.
I did take it a bit easy when starting out in case there was a temperature induced falloff in performance. -

S-Drives --I got rid of mine because of noise issues before they were worn out. Yes, I did keep them inflated and rotated. Mine were on a R53.

I can second that!
