That's funny! Davidson is one lucky guy to come out of that wreck alive. I can't imagine what it must have been like for his loved ones and friends to see that happen.
It's a helluva souvenir too! Not quite the trophy he was hoping for of course but I think I would proudly put that on the trophy shelf.
Thanks to this helmet cam video, see and (if you have a good subwoofer and the sound turned up) almost feel what it was like to drive a lap of Le Mans at night in a Corvette.
