With my background in fine rugs and weaving, we decided to produce rugs(floor art) for our Architects and Interior Designers that use Jan's work.
They love the rugs!
One day I said, "I like cars'!
So, I had our Weavers produce some Porsche, Benz and Ferrari rugs for me. I figured, if nobody else liked 'em, I'll keep 'em myself!
Once I showed them at a car Club event and sold out, I restocked and went to the Concourse Show here in Milwaukee.
The local Ferrari Dealer took the all Italian cars I had and, the man that builds the continuation of the "Troy Indy Special" commissioned me to produce his logo in rug/wall hanging in New Zealand wool and silk. https://www.7fifteenmotorworks.com/
Mini's have always been a cool car to me so, I posted this here.
Check out our web page and notice the colors of the 911 is in Porsche Guards red w/ color gradation.
Look closely at the Porsche crest, you'll see very nice color matching and gradation.
Right now we haven't found anything like this.
We actually are about to have a rug made from a photo of our friends dog(that past away) and, another friends trophy deer head he shot.
