I remember when fat people were just fat people and not rolled around airports.
Somehow society now thinks they need to board a plain early with the 4 generations of family members.

Fat is not a handicap, if you start walking to the plain early you can walk one like everyone else. God knows you can use the exercise you 6 fat bastards.

I remember when my 10th grade (1972) English teacher wore the white, pocketed, button down shirt sleeved shirts, with a soft pack of Lucky Strikes tucked inside the pocket. Totally visible to everyone, and apparently completely acceptable... Who cared, we at least knew where we could get a light.

I pitched a [complaint] to one of the guys working there, heck of a sense of humor, and he told me they wouldn't do a re-arrange for another 20 years. "You don't have to worry about it though, you'll be dead by then."

 

Stores were closed on Sunday.

 

Everything was closed Sundays, you actually had to plan for the weekend, if you ran out you went without.
