Two more things from my dim, dark, distant past: Big John and Sparky and metal soda bottle carriers.

 

I had forgotten about the metal carriers. You could also get a case in a wooden version.

Letterman is too abrasive for the older Tonight Show crowd. Leno isn't abrasive.... he isn't funny either! He does have good taste in cars, though!

:cornut: At 2100hrs on Tues nights in my Grandma Molly's Cafe in Buda, Texas the 'honest to God' Texas Rangers of Travis and Hays Counties would have their meetings. We children were allowed to carry their coffee out once and then were banned to the back yard to play. This was 1956.
