:cornut: When most boys 3rd grade and up had/carried a small pocket knife(Swiss Army/Case/Remington/official Boy Scout/Schrade/Kabar/Buck/Camillus...........) that their father or grandfather had given them and instructed them in its proper use and correct sharpening. The teachers and principals all knew that boys carried a pocket knife and knew that if they had to take it away from you for dad to retrieve, you wouldn't be able to sit down for a week and wouldn't have the knife back for eons.Once some one had stolen the magnets off of the 'stick ons' so we all got searched. My teacher said,"nice knife. Does your father know that you have it? Well okay." I remember that there were lace up boots that had a snap pouch on the out side to carry one's knife but mom said,"those are too expensive and only 'hoods' wear them." Yeah Buddy times have changed. Now the police would be called.............:eek6::frown2::frown5::nonod:
