Yes youngsters, there was a time when anybody (regardless of age) could walk up to a vending machine (located in most work places, gas stations, stores, etc.) insert just 45 cents (pre "sin" tax days) pull a handle attached to a rod and out would come a pack of your favorite smokes.
The guy came by and dropped off the yellow page a couple months ago while I was washing the car. He said I was only one of two people in the entire subdivision getting one. That says a lot.
Adjusting the "rotor" on the rooftop antenna to turn it to get a better picture....
Had cable most of the time, but that rooftop antenna that could be turned was useful back when the cable outages were a weekly occurance.....
