If you were spanked in school, Mom & Dad didn't threaten the school with a lawsuit, they gave you another whipping when you got home....

I did until a couple years ago. Quiet, no small engine problems, no gas, no oil, take up less storage space, plus cheap and good exercise.

I own a push style lawn mower. It is wonderful to be freed from the mess of gasoline and oil and the noise that those motors produce. I can pull the mower down from it's storage spot (hanging on the wall) and mow the front yard in about 15 minutes. I've also had several Huck Finn moments where neighbors walking by stop to ask about the mower and I offer to let them make a few passes to see what it is like.

I'll admit that motorized mowers do much better with sticks, pine cones and the like, where the push mower catches on them and jams up, but I now alternate weeks with a professional crew that trims and power mows, so I just neaten up the yard every other week with the push mower. I had to quickly rake the yard once a month when I was doing it myself.

I've got a 20x40 front yard and and a 40x40 back yard, so this little mower is perfect for me!

If a soldier walks into the bar, everyone tries to be the first to buy him a drink.... Not to mention folks wanted to hire him.

    Braniff

I worked at Nabisco a bit over 10 years ago. They were owned by RJR and you could still smoke at your desk, though most people tried to refrain until after 5pm for the benefit of others around them.

Glad to hear that. If it wasn't, I'd be knocking on you front door with a couple of containers of Seafoam. Yep, you might end up screaming for a little while, but it's just to clean you out a little. Besides, I'd be fun to see how long you'd be smoking.
