It is just simple "L" shaped rubber gasket that goes on the bottom of garage doors. It has been used for years. I got mine at Lowes or Home Depot for about $12 bucks for a bag and it was enough to do 3 cars.
You've done a beautiful job with the car and I'm envious of the dog. As someone who is married to a woman who backs into garage doors, I am very familiar with Lowes and Home Depot's supply of parts. Winding the spring is the fun part.
Very nice Clubby, tastefully done. Saw your mount system in your specs. Do you have any more details of how you mounted and where you purchased? Thanks, Don
Don, I got my mount from Mount Guys Garmin GPS, XM, Sirius, Magellan GPS, Lowrance GPS, TomTom GPS, MIO GPS & RAM GPS Mount Authorized Dealer at MountGuys.com it is a GPS goose neck system that can attach to the seat bolt and also comes with a floor mount attachment that can also be used sideways to attach to side of center counsel with 3 screws like photo. I ran my power cord under the plastic goose neck cover to keep everything tidy it also has a thumb screw at the top so I can tilt up or down or turn for passenger viewing as well. This is a great system for under $20. Ocean
Most excellent, Thank you. Good detail picture of the mounting point. OK, went looking on the website, can you post the link to the item you purchased. Looks like they don't have this item with a Nuvi type mount ball. Hummmm. Don
here the link to the one I have for my Magellan. Car CUSTOM Floor / Seat Bolt Mount for Magellan RoadMate 1210 1220 1340 1440 1470 Maestro 4700 GPS I also used this same mount on my other car with a Garmin Nuvi 255w but I had to call them for a Garmin ball adapter part number because it wasn't on their website. I think I paid about $9-10 to adapt to a Garmin.
Thank you, but it isn't so clean now the engine gave out on Tuesday night and spilled all its oil all over the street, engine compartment, complete underside & back end :incazzato: Hopeful the dealer will be able to get it repaired in time for the dragon, I still haven't heard what they found went wrong but I am betting on the timing chain giving out since this is a weak spot on these engines.
Here are a few updated photos of my Clubman that were taken last month when we were at the Dragon for MSSD.
