I started noticing a bit of non-linear power from my 2009 MINI.... Sort of a mild "rocking chair" effect when applying boost..... I knew the OEM diverter valve had a weak design with a flexible baffle, subject to rips / tears / pin holes....

For some background story, K-huevo discusses the problem under "Today's Job" https://www.motoringalliance.com/threads/todays-job.5621/page-3

I was surprised to see there was a new revision to the design, where the rubber baffle (yellow) has been eliminated... And only $39.00 to boot...

Old design on the left, new design on the right.....

Took me about 45 minutes to replace.....

The "rocking chair "effect is gone now...

For those interested, the new P/N is 11658636606

    Cheers....
