Well isn't that weird.... No jack pads on the Countryguy.... Looks like they were eliminated....

Huh... Wonder if they did this when they went with the lifetime tires????

 

Sorry, don't know this one but I assume the same jack pads that fit other MINIs and BMWs will work just fine since it has been the same for years on both. I also reworked the thread title so others searching this later down the road will have an easier time finding it.

It doesn't look like the C-Man has rubber jack pads. The reason why I say this is because I had a customer looking for jack pad for his ALL4 and I could not find it on ETK or on Realoem.

 

Ben, Where does the owner's manual suggest jacking points are?

My post was more to educate others as to where the jack points on the Countryman can be located.

i use the mini jack on the front jacking tab and it will lift both the front and rear tires clear of the ground, maybe not enough to work under the rear of the car, but enough to rotate the tires with only 1 jack

i have access to a lift for anything else, but the jack that comes with the car does fine for tire rotation

Can one of you R60 guys snap a few shots of the jack pads? I want to see what they look like.

 

There are no pads on the Countryman. I use a floor jack on the flat part of the front sub frame behind the front tire. It is just a little farther in than a traditional jack pad. This point lifts both front and rear wheels.

 

Supposedly the same rubber blocks that are standard on the other MINIs fit the R60. You should be able to pick up a set from the dealer and pop them on.

I use a 2x4 and floor jack to lift then put my jack stands in the empty space adjacent to the jack tabs. It works well, though I may pick up a set of blocks one day.
